Music Coast Links Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Music Co LLC (“Music Coast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use links.musiccoast.com (the “Links Site”). The Links Site is a lightweight portal that provides official Music Coast app downloads, editorial links, festival-photo links, social channels, sharing tools, browser notifications, and newsletter access.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Links Site. The main Music Coast website, mobile apps, subscriptions, creator tools, store, and other services may be governed by the policies posted on MusicCoast.com.
2. Information the Links Site may process
Basic server and security data
Our hosting, CDN, and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, country or region headers, browser/device type, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals. This information helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and protect the service.
Optional first-party analytics
Where consent is required, analytics are disabled until you choose to allow them. When analytics are active, the Links Site may send page views and interactions—such as app-store taps, article opens, social links, copy, share, QR, notification, install, and newsletter events—to Music Coast’s first-party analytics endpoint. Music Coast’s analytics configuration may hash IP addresses before storage.
Theme, consent, install, and notification preferences
The Links Site uses browser storage and a first-party consent cookie to remember theme choices, accent color, privacy choices, notification topics, installation state, and the last content version checked for notifications. These settings generally stay on your device unless a browser feature or server endpoint is needed to perform the requested action.
Newsletter information
If you join the newsletter, the name and email address you submit are sent to FeedBlitz, the mailing-list provider used by Music Coast. FeedBlitz processes that information under its own terms and privacy practices. The quick human-verification check on this Links Site is performed locally in your browser and is used only to unlock the form.
Browser notifications
If you enable notifications, your browser records the permission and the Links Site stores your selected topics. The service worker may periodically check Music Coast’s public content feed and show a local notification when a selected content type changes. Music Coast Links does not require a separate third-party push account for this feature.
3. Cookies and local storage
Necessary storage supports consent choices, page operation, and security. Optional analytics depend on your privacy selection where applicable. You can review or change these settings on the Cookie & Privacy Preferences page, clear site data through your browser, or disable browser notifications in browser or device settings.
4. Third-party links and platforms
The Links Site opens services operated by Apple, Google, Discord, Facebook, FeedBlitz, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, WhatsApp, X, YouTube, and other third parties. Once you leave the Links Site or submit information to a third party, that provider’s policies apply. Music Coast does not control those independent services.
5. How information is used
Information may be used to operate and secure the Links Site, deliver the app and content links you request, measure which links are useful, provide notifications you enable, process newsletter subscriptions, improve usability, investigate errors, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Retention
Browser preferences remain until they expire, you change them, or you clear site data. Server logs and analytics records are retained according to Music Coast’s operational, security, reporting, and legal needs. Newsletter information remains with the mailing-list provider until it is deleted or you unsubscribe, subject to applicable requirements.
7. Your choices and rights
You may reject optional analytics, change consent choices, disable notifications, clear local storage, unsubscribe from emails, and avoid third-party links. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information.
8. Children
The Links Site is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the age required to provide valid consent in their jurisdiction. Parents or guardians who believe a child submitted information may contact Music Coast.
9. Security
Music Coast uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to this lightweight portal. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so visitors should use current browsers and protect their devices and accounts.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the Links Site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the Music Coast contact page or email [email protected].
